Notes of creamy oats, light but sweet hint of honey basking in a bowl of milk. The mild scent somehow evokes a soothing feeling of comfort. This is a pick me up soap that everybody likes to have!
Rice Bran Oil- is full of unsaponifiable oils and gamma oryzanol as well as other antioxidants including Vitamin E, ferulic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid, and palmitic acid. You'll love the way this oil feels in handmade soap. It's rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, and it has a thick and moisturizing consistency that's similar to olive oil.
Colloidal Oatmeal- is used in scrubs, soap, and face masks to provide moisturizing properties by creating a barrier against the skin. The hydrated granules of oatmeal adhere to the surface of the skin and provide a protective film attracting humidity and reducing friction. Colloidal Oatmeal has long been used in bath remedies to alleviate itching.
Maple Syrup- is full of anti oxidant properties. There are many types of antioxidant in maple syrup in the shape of various polyphenols. They include gallic acid, cinnamic acid and benzoic acid as well as a variety of flavanols like catechins, quercetin and rutin. And just like honey, the polyphenol antioxidants found in maple syrup are known to have anti-inflammatory actions.
Crafted to be luxury soaps, many are made with milk, clays, silk, and butters or oils that may yield softer , gentler and more nourishing soaps. In order to extend the life of your soap, let it drain and dry fully in between uses.
